We are seeking a highly skilled Physician to join our team at The Ohio State University. As a Medical Oncology Expert, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the advancement of medical knowledge in the field of Head and Neck Cancer.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and provide direct and indirect patient care services in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Conduct ambulatory clinics and perform relevant oncology procedures
- Order special procedures, diagnostic testing, and other ancillary services
- Respond to consultation requests and determine, prescribe, and implement treatment plans and/or medications required
- Document all services and instructions provided in medical records
- Educate patients and promote wellness, prevention, and early detection by providing materials, resources, and services to patients and their families
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Completion of accredited Oncology/Hematology Fellowship
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine and board eligibility or certification in Medical Oncology
- Ability to meet medical licensure requirements in Ohio
- Active certification from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
