We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to lead our Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) program.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description:

This key individual will develop and implement strategies to ensure the technical quality, consistency, and compliance of all our engineering deliverables.

The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in civil engineering principles, a thorough understanding of industry standards, and a commitment to upholding the highest levels of project excellence.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Create, implement, and continuously improve a comprehensive QA/QC program for all civil engineering projects.
  • Develop checklists, procedures, and templates to guide quality processes.
  • Define and enforce technical standards within the firm, staying up-to-date with the latest industry codes, design standards, and best practices.
  • Provide training and guidance to engineering staff on QA/QC procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits and in-depth technical reviews of designs, plans, calculations, specifications, and reports to verify accuracy, completeness, and adherence to client requirements.
Requirements:
  • Licensure: Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred but not required.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program. Advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in civil engineering design, with at least 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in QA/QC roles.
  • Technical Excellence: Comprehensive technical knowledge in areas such as site development, transportation engineering, water resources, or other relevant civil engineering sectors.
  • Quality Focus: Proven dedication to quality and meticulous attention to detail.
