Accountant I Job Description

Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional looking for a challenging role in a dynamic manufacturing environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Accountant I to join our team at Jobot.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general ledger accounting duties, including month-end closing and budgeting
  • Confirm the transactional side of inventory and oversee the cycle count program
  • Report on daily sales and track expenses
  • Plan for headcount and oversee fixed assets

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of accounting experience
  • Work experience within a plant or manufacturing environment, specifically with experience working in distribution and inventory flow
  • General ledger, month-end closing, and budgeting experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Admin, or Economics, or similar
  • Cost accounting experience with Microsoft D365
