Christus Health is seeking a highly skilled Patient Financial Representative Senior to join our team. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our patients receive high-quality financial services while meeting or exceeding company key performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform revenue cycle functions in a manner that meets or exceeds company key performance metrics.
- Ensure departmental quality and productivity standards are met.
- Collect and provide patient and payor information to facilitate account resolution.
- Respond to all types of account inquiries through written, verbal, or electronic correspondence.
- Maintain knowledge of insurance and billing guidelines and regulations for third-party payers.
- Effectively communicate with internal and external customers to resolve account questions.
- Comply with company, payer, and government regulations.
- Demonstrate knowledge of coding regulations.
Account Resolution:
- Collect balances due from payors for services.
- Identify and forward proper denial information for resolution.
- Maintain knowledge of collection requirements by payors.
- Identify and resolve underpayments and credit balances.
- Identify trends impacting account resolution.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
