The primary objective of this role is to deliver exceptional customer service by efficiently managing front-end operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Engage with every customer through friendly greetings, expressions of gratitude, and by offering a selection of bag types while adhering to courtesy guidelines.
  2. Ensure that customer purchases are securely bagged to prevent any damage.
  3. Collaborate effectively with fellow team members and supervisors.
  4. Assist customers by placing their purchases in grocery carts or directly handing them bags, while offering help with loading items into their vehicles.
  5. Conduct price checks as necessary.
  6. Communicate any customer concerns to a supervisor.
  7. Retrieve shopping carts from the parking area.
  8. Maintain cleanliness in the front end, break room, restrooms, lobby, and parking lot.
  9. Remove trash and debris from carts and baskets.
  10. Carry out additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  1. Possess a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  2. Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with others.
  3. Capable of lifting a minimum of 25 lbs consistently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  4. Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
  5. Skilled in retrieving and maneuvering shopping carts.
  6. Competent in bending and lifting to assist customers with their orders.
  7. Exhibit effective communication and customer service abilities.
