We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at the College of Saint Benedict/Saint John's University. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain all areas of the Abbey monastic residence, including offices, classrooms, and common areas.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Manage and maintain the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Abbey Housekeeping to ensure that all facilities are clean and well-maintained.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in custodial work or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
