Job Summary

We are seeking an Experienced Cardiovascular Surgery PA to join our team at CHRISTUS Ochsner St. Patrick. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiovascular surgery and possess strong communication skills to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

About the Position

This position offers the opportunity to work in a comprehensive cardiology, electrophysiology, and structural heart program, all housed within the ACC-designated Heart Center. Our cardiac surgery program has the longest-standing history in the area.

Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Assist in surgery, endo vein harvesting, in-patient rounding, and outpatient clinic.
  • Shared call 1 in 3 calls.
  • Rotating shifts, 24/7 service coverage with night shifts and weekends.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Active Louisiana license.
  • Physician Assistant Board Certification and Experience.
