Overview

The Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to serve as a Supervisory Inventory Management Specialist. This role plays a crucial part in the efficient management of expendable assets and materials for the Logistics Service.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $83,416 - $107,862 per year, based on the grade level and location of the job. Please note that salaries may vary depending on individual circumstances.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the inventory of expendable assets and materials, ensuring maximum effectiveness in their management. You will oversee the computation of requirements for supplies, conduct effectiveness/efficiency reviews, and serve as the approving official for reconciled purchase card transactions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To qualify for this position, applicants must have at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-9 level in the Federal service. This experience should have equipped you with knowledge of planning, coordinating, and executing an inventory and commodity management program.
