ULTRASOUND TECHNICIAN PRN

POSITION:
PRN - Day shift - 8:00am-4:30pm

SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dedicated Ultrasound Technician to join our team on a PRN basis. This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound technology to assist healthcare professionals in patient assessments and treatment plans.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conduct ultrasound examinations and ensure high-quality imaging results.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and address any concerns.
  • Adjust imaging equipment as necessary to obtain optimal results.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to support patient care.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional knowledge in a relevant field.
  • Less than 1 year of practical experience in ultrasound technology.
  • Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Eligibility for registry; must achieve registration within one year of employment.
  • Experience in Obstetric Ultrasound is preferred but not mandatory.
