We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team at eTek IT Services, Inc.
Job Summary
As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the high availability and scalability of our cloud-based systems. You will work closely with our development team to design, implement, and maintain reliable systems that meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and highly available systems using cloud infrastructure tools such as Terraform and Pulumi.
- Develop and maintain automation tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve system issues.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in developing and maintaining cloud-based systems.
- Advanced scripting experience in PowerShell.
- Coding experience in at least one of Python, Ruby, Java, or Go.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools and cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.
- Extensive knowledge of software build, test, and deploy processes using Git, Jenkins, TeamCity, Puppet, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Preferred Qualifications
- User and administration experience with Perforce version control.
