We are seeking a compassionate and creative Resident Engagement Specialist to join our team at Discovery Commons Hobe Sound. As a Resident Engagement Specialist, you will play a vital role in promoting resident satisfaction and well-being by developing and implementing activities that cater to their diverse needs and interests.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular assessments to understand resident preferences and develop targeted activity plans.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver engaging activities, such as games, arts and crafts, exercise programs, and outings.
  • Build relationships with residents, family members, and community partners to foster a sense of community and belonging.
  • Prioritize resident feedback and suggestions to continuously improve activity offerings.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of resident engagement and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in social work, recreation, sociology, psychology, or a related field.
  • One to three years of experience in assisted living or long-term care working with memory care patients.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to motivate and engage older adults.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
