We are seeking a highly skilled Perioperative Support Partner to join our team at Pen Bay Hospital, a part of the MaineHealth system. This role will support the surgical team in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment, facilitating the OR schedule in multiple capacities.
Key Responsibilities- Support and assist the surgical team under the direction of the OR charge nurse.
- Assist with the delivery of anesthesia care under the direction of the Department and Anesthesia and the OR Director.
- Demonstrate knowledge of infection control in the surgical unit.
- Perform assigned duties in emergent patient care situations.
- Meet age-specific population needs.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- BCLS within 6 months of hire.
- No experience required.
