EXCEPTIONAL NEEDS EDUCATOR - RIDGEVIEW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Compensation:
A sign-on bonus of $4,000 is available, distributed in two installments over the next two years for eligible candidates.
Starting Date:
New educators will begin their roles in July.
Orientation:
Orientation sessions for new teaching staff will be conducted prior to the start of the academic year.
Experience:
The district acknowledges up to 20 years of verified full-time teaching experience for salary placement.
Work Schedule:
This position requires 182 contracted work days annually.
Benefits:
Eligible candidates will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, along with paid leave and retirement savings options. Detailed benefits information is available upon request.
Salary:
The starting salary ranges from $50,059 to $86,492 annually, depending on educational qualifications and relevant experience.
Interviews will be conducted at the school site.
Qualifications and Expectations:
- BA/BS degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid teaching license in Colorado with endorsements in Special Education. Candidates without the required endorsements but enrolled in an approved program may apply under specific conditions.
- Completion of PRAXIS Core Knowledge & Application assessments.
