Job Overview

Turner & Townsend is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our projects in the Industrial and Manufacturing sectors. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Project Management Commissions in the Industrial and Manufacturing sectors, ensuring end-to-end service delivery.
  • Act as the primary client interface, ensuring client objectives are met and projects are delivered to the required quality standards.
  • Manage projects with a focus on safety, budget, schedule, and quality output.
  • Procure, manage, and direct a diverse range of Consultant expertise across a multi-disciplinary skillset.
  • Oversee the management of construction project design, estimation, and project planning, including statutory processes and procurement management.
  • Accountable for project control, including resourcing and service delivery requirements, ensuring Consultant supervision and approving payment certificates.
  • Manage production and approval of project delivery plans, contractor plans, cash flow projections, and earned value analysis.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of construction service providers for capital projects, including conformance and compliance.
  • Accountable for supervising project close-out activities, including commissioning and handover to Operations and Maintenance.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in managing large or multiple infrastructure/capital projects.
  • University degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of project management, contract management, strategic planning, methodologies, and construction delivery best practice.
  • Strong business acumen with a financial perspective.
  • Experience using project, program, and finance management tools such as MS Project and Primavera P6 or similar.
  • Experience managing a varied team, commercial contract management, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proven track record of dealing with issues, proactively and in a timely fashion, along with the ability to communicate complex information to all stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to successfully implement and execute programs, driving performance, and knowledge of mobilizing and managing the supply chain.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • LEED AP Certification preferred.
