Electroneurodiagnostic Specialist

The Neuroscience Group is in search of a dedicated Electroneurodiagnostic Specialist for a PRN/Casual role. This position entails working on an as-needed basis, focusing on the execution of various electroneurodiagnostic (END) assessments under the direct oversight of the Imaging and Neurodiagnostics Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct END assessments in accordance with established laboratory standards and protocols.
  • Ensure accurate verification of patient identity while upholding confidentiality.
  • Efficiently apply electrodes to patients.
  • Provide education to patients and their families regarding testing procedures.
  • Maintain and ensure the safety of all equipment used.
  • Work collaboratively with interpreting physicians to enhance quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or higher, with completion of an accredited END program.
  • Preferred national professional credentials in EEG.
  • Current BCLS certification is mandatory.
