Electroneurodiagnostic SpecialistThe Neuroscience Group is in search of a dedicated Electroneurodiagnostic Specialist for a PRN/Casual role. This position entails working on an as-needed basis, focusing on the execution of various electroneurodiagnostic (END) assessments under the direct oversight of the Imaging and Neurodiagnostics Manager.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct END assessments in accordance with established laboratory standards and protocols.
- Ensure accurate verification of patient identity while upholding confidentiality.
- Efficiently apply electrodes to patients.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding testing procedures.
- Maintain and ensure the safety of all equipment used.
- Work collaboratively with interpreting physicians to enhance quality improvement initiatives.
- Associate degree or higher, with completion of an accredited END program.
- Preferred national professional credentials in EEG.
- Current BCLS certification is mandatory.
- No requirement for night, weekend, holiday, or on-call shifts.
