Piedmont Newnan Hospital, an award-winning 154-bed facility in Newnan, GA, is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team. This is a full-time opportunity with a 3-day work week and minimal call from home.

Piedmont Newnan Hospital is part of the Piedmont Healthcare System, which includes seven hospitals and 100 locations. Our hospital offers a unique, patient-first experience and specializes in 24-hour emergency, robotic surgery, women's, medical and surgical, and rehabilitation services.

Case Assignments

Our CRNA will be responsible for providing anesthesia care for a variety of cases, including:

  • ENT
  • General
  • GI
  • OB
  • Ophthalmology
  • Oral
  • Orthopedic
  • Pulmonary
  • Plastics
  • Podiatry
  • Urology
  • Vascular
  • Thoracic
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Pre-anesthesia assessment
  • Obtaining and/or verifying patient consent
  • Discussing anesthetic options and risks with the patient
  • Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
  • Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, the candidate must:

  • Hold a current license as a registered professional nurse
  • Have graduated from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
  • Be certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
