About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join our team in a hybrid role. As a key member of our financial services team, you will be responsible for managing tax compliance, providing tax planning and advisory services, and leading a team of tax professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of tax compliance, including preparation, filing, and reporting for various entities and individuals.
  • Conduct thorough tax planning and forecasting to minimize tax liabilities and ensure optimal financial performance.
  • Provide strategic tax advisory services and make recommendations based on thorough research and analysis.
  • Lead the team in preparing both entity and individual tax returns.
  • Utilize various software tools, including QuickBooks, Ultra Tax, and Thompson Reuters, to manage and streamline tax processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure tax strategies align with business objectives.
  • Keep updated with the latest tax laws and regulations and ensure companywide compliance.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to junior staff members and foster a positive, productive work environment.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience as an Accounting Professional.
  • At least three tax seasons in a CPA practice preparing both entity and individual tax returns.
  • A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Ultra Tax, and Thompson Reuters.
  • Extensive experience in tax planning, compliance, advisory, and preparation.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts in an easily understandable manner.
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to anticipate potential issues and devise effective solutions.
  • A commitment to maintaining the highest levels of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in dealing with sensitive financial information.
