Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with veterinarians to ensure high-quality care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
  • Assist with surgeries, procedures, and hospital functions to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow.
  • Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on Thrive Membership options, medications, and additional treatments.
  • Maintain accurate, comprehensive medical records with the support of practice systems.
  • Obtain relevant health history and information from clients and maintain medical charts.
  • Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and maintain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs.
  • Support and mentor fellow team members to ensure a cohesive and effective team.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of continuous veterinary technician experience (direct animal/patient care required).
  • LVT, RVT, CVT encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to work rotating weekends and certain holidays.
  • Desire to practice empathetic, gold-standard medicine benefiting our patients.
  • Team-oriented with an ability to collaborate and support each other.
  • Possess a positive, kind attitude and provide trustworthy communication to patients, team members, and clients.
  • Desire to constantly grow and advance as a veterinary technician.
