About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at JPS Health Network. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate radiologic equipment to produce patient images, ensuring precise work and attention to detail.
  • Assist physicians in Radiology, Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Endoscopy, Ortho, Oncology, and other areas as needed.
  • Perform procedures and patient care, including medication administration, vital signs, patient history, and monitoring of medical devices.
  • Work with minimal supervision, making independent decisions while maintaining a positive attitude.
Requirements
  • Associates degree or equivalent from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology Science.
  • 0-4 years of experience as a radiographic technologist.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiology (R).
  • Certified by the Texas Medical Board (TMB) as a Medical Radiologist Technologist (MRT).
  • Current JPS recognized BLS certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5 or more years of experience as a radiographic technologist.
  • Demonstrated competency in at least three of the following areas: Trauma, Fluoroscopy, Correctional Health, Orthopedics, Bone Density, Surgical or Pain Management C-arm use, and Imaging Quality Assurance/Quality Control.
