Job Summary

The Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day activities of FTTDC - Ohio Logistics, ensuring that the organization is managed and performing efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, improve, and implement operations and production plans to meet company goals.
  • Review, analyze, and evaluate business procedures, implement policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations.
  • Evaluate overall company performance.
  • Foresee potential problems before they happen.
  • Provide all necessary reports, assist management in goal setting, and promote company growth and anticipate and forecast trends and patterns of the company and marketplace.
  • Manage finances, develop, monitor, and analyze the departmental and company budgets and financial reports.
  • Allocate the company's resources, materials, and equipment to the most productive functions, supply chain and delivery management.
  • Implement initiatives to reduce company costs and increase employee productivity.
  • Optimize business workflows.
  • Ensure health and safety guidelines are followed.
  • Supervise and motivate a team of employees.
  • Identify training needs and ensure proper training is provided.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs critical to the success of the business.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 5-7 years of management experience.
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Excellent use of WMS.
  • Ability to use dashboards to drive performance measures.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills for training and motivating teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Drug-free, able to pass a drug test.
