RESPONSIBILITIES

  • For Full-time, Salaried BCBAs: Maintain 25 billable hours weekly (105 monthly); additional billable hours rewarded with a monthly incentive
  • For Hourly BCBAs: Maintain a 75% billable hour ratio for weekly hours
  • Design and oversee the implementation of client-centered ABA therapy treatment plans
  • Conduct evidence-based assessments and provide timely reports
  • Evaluate client and family strengths, needs, preferences, and goals
  • Consult with clients to provide ongoing program direction
  • Supervise therapy delivery in agreed-upon settings such as clinics, homes, schools, and communities
  • Implement individualized treatment plans and data collection systems
  • Analyze behavioral data to inform ongoing decisions
  • Develop and refine teaching strategies
  • Ensure timely and accurate implementation of program directives
  • Train and support teams of Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and Technician performance
  • Coordinate team meetings with Technicians, healthcare professionals, clients, and caregivers
  • Participate in regular clinical meetings as necessary
  • Engage caregivers to facilitate skill transfer for client care
  • Lead client meetings to provide guidance and training to caregivers
  • Offer insights to technology partners to enhance treatment delivery and reduce administrative burdens
  • Recommend innovations to improve ABA therapy delivery and client satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with the latest ABA clinical standards and ethical guidelines
  • Adhere to StepOne's quality standards and policies

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field
  • Current BCBA certification
  • Valid state license as required for employment
  • Demonstrated experience as a BCBA, with supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience in assessment and report writing
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance
  • Strong interpersonal skills with staff and families, collaborative and team-oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Compassionate and empathetic with a strong drive for success
  • Interest in the application of technology in behavioral therapy

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position involves working in various locations and may require travel; therefore, a valid driver's license and insurance are necessary. Effective communication, both verbal and written, is essential, involving frequent speaking, listening, writing, typing, reading, and comprehension. The role may involve working with young children, necessitating agility and the ability to move quickly, crouch, and sit on the floor. Regular attendance is crucial.
