Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversees engagement planning and job management, ensuring efficient billing practices by staff
  • Reviews workpaper documentation
  • Completes necessary checklists
  • Conducts analytical review procedures, documenting expectations, results, and conclusions for complex reviews
  • Mentors and evaluates staff performance
  • Contributes to the firm's objectives and serves as a technical resource for colleagues
  • Delivers value-added services by identifying and developing insightful business advisory comments
  • Reviews financial statements
  • Assesses and concludes on the validity of analytical review procedures conducted by staff
  • Identifies issues that require management letter comments
  • Researches and resolves complex accounting matters
  • Performs additional accounting services and responsibilities as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Proficient in 10-key operations
  • Ability to creatively utilize software for enhanced engagement efficiency
  • Capability to supervise, instruct, mentor, and lead team members
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and analytical abilities
  • Comprehensive understanding of general tax issues that may arise during engagements
  • Expertise in tax and accounting research methodologies and resources
  • Proficient in MS Office, CaseWare, and FAS
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or an equivalent qualification as determined by the management committee is required
  • Master's Degree in Accounting or Taxation is preferred
  • CPA license is mandatory
  • 6 to 9 years of experience in public accounting is required
