Job SummaryR.J. Corman Railroad Group, LLC is seeking a skilled Track Inspector to join our team. As a Track Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our rail network.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Track Supervisors to install and repair railroad track, and complete other projects as needed.
- Operate machinery to inspect the track and ensure it is in good working condition.
- Complete documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Promote a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
- Utilize technical skills to perform tasks associated with track work, including but not limited to: pulling and driving spikes, replacing ties, surfacing track, changing rail, bars, and other track apparatus.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Track Inspector or Foreman.
- Ability to pass railroad safety test and training to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with co-workers, customers, and supervisors.
- Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently.
