Gems Setra is seeking a detail-oriented and positive individual to join their team as an Assembler II. This role requires bench assembly of electrical or mechanical parts with some precision. The position reports to a Supervisor or Area Lead.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble products with minimal direction, following assembly instructions to produce quality products that meet customers' quality and delivery specifications.
- Train and certify in three or more product cells throughout the factory.
- Lead and schedule orders for cells with 1-2 players, meeting OTD and productivity requirements.
- Ensure quality goals are met for assigned cells.
- Run the daily SQDIP board and identify part shortages and other issues.
- Maintain 5S and SW for assigned cells.
- Train associates in cells.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Demonstrates basic math skills, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs on occasion, if required.
- 1-3 years' experience in assembly.
- Prior experience with soldering or IPC training.
- Performs product calibration.
