We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shop Foreman to lead our maintenance operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance and repair of our rental equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the activities of our service technicians to ensure timely and effective maintenance and repair of equipment.
- Train and supervise mechanical personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Responsible for the safe maintenance and repair of a variety of complex rental equipment, including diagnosing and supervising the repair of equipment to ensure work is performed efficiently.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of work performed, including work orders and maintenance records.
- Travel to customer job sites as needed to perform maintenance and repair services, ensuring that our service vehicles are well-maintained and in good working condition.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the success of our team.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school degree or certification a plus.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- At least 5 years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair, with a strong background in mechanical aptitude and tool usage.
- Advanced knowledge of construction equipment, including schematics and diagrams.
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
