Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team at Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process prescription transactions, including dispensing, billing, and adjudication, for our long-term care accounts.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to pharmacy staff, including clinicians, technicians, and drivers.
  • Ensure all prescription items are accurate, complete, and payment has been successfully secured.
  • Provide clinical knowledge and expertise to facilities in the event of insurance issues or medication concerns.
Requirements
  • Must be a licensed and in good standing Pharmacist Professional in Pennsylvania, or able to obtain licensure within 30 days of employment.
  • No previous violations or suspension of licenses due to fraud, theft, or non-compliance with State and Federal Regulations.
  • Ability to stand for periods up to 10 hours and possess dexterity of hands and fingers to operate computer components.
  • Knowledge of long-term care and QS/1 PrimeCare is a plus, but not required.
