Position Overview:

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will assess, provide, and document respiratory therapy to patients as ordered by physicians, adhering to established standards and practices. This role requires a substantial amount of scientific knowledge and technical skill.

Job Description:

EDUCATION

A degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field is required. Equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE

RRT-Registered Respiratory Therapist

RCP-Respiratory Care Practitioner

OR CRTT-Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician

BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Familiarity with usual equipment and therapy used in respiratory care is preferred.

This position may regularly work with hazardous drugs identified by NIOSH for purposes of USP 800.

Pay Range is $51.52 to $67.22 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
