Job Summary

Job Title: CT Technologist, PRN

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of technical procedures, including CT scans, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. You will work closely with our radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and other diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results
• Ensure that all equipment is properly calibrated and maintained to ensure high-quality images
• Develop and implement procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
• Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure that imaging procedures meet established standards
• Maintain current knowledge of imaging procedures and technologies to ensure that patients receive the most accurate and effective diagnoses

Requirements

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
• Current certification in radiography and computed tomography
• At least one year of experience in radiology, preferably in CT
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records
• Ability to develop and implement procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort
