Under the guidance and oversight of a registered nurse, the Patient Care Assistant plays a vital role in supporting patients with their daily living activities. This position involves delivering fundamental nursing care to patients experiencing acute health issues and contributing to the upkeep of a safe and hygienic environment.
The ideal candidate will be capable of executing general nursing assistant responsibilities across various departments with appropriate supervision. Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current certification on the Nurse Aide registry in North Carolina.
- Successful completion of basic BCLS training.
- Proficient in reading and communicating in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Familiarity with the clinical departments within a healthcare facility.
- Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred.
