Responsibilities:
  • Ensure plant Safety, Quality, and Productivity goals are met.
  • Conduct regular audits and near-miss investigations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide supervision, motivation, and work direction to the department.
  • Communicate production activity and attainment of scheduled orders at the beginning of each shift.
  • Lead teams and complete special projects as required.
  • Report EFF and MEFF as needed.
  • Perform payroll functions, including time and attendance tracking.
  • Maintain performance reviews and make recommendations on wage adjustments, promotions, or terminations.
  • Approve bi-weekly payroll and complete related paperwork.
  • Monitor temporary staffing, including safety, job performance, and weekly payroll approval.
  • Accountable for the safety of all employees under their supervision.
  • Support and investigate situations involving line or equipment stoppage due to perceived safety risks.
  • Complete responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures.

  • Problem Solving/Conflict Resolution: Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information, and develops alternative solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Basic working knowledge of Excel and Word software.
  • Must read, write, and speak English.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience as a Manufacturing Supervisor.
  • Preferred: 5 years' experience as a Supervisor in manufacturing, with a plus for plastics industry experience.
