Job Title: Full Stack Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer to join our team at Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with experience in building multi-tiered systems, exploring new technologies, and communicating effectively with management and other departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain complex software systems using Java, C#, and/or JavaScript.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and develop skills in new or unfamiliar technologies and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with management and other departments to ensure project tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Contribute to all phases of a project, from planning to deployment.
  • Prepare user and technical documentation for assigned development projects.
  • Provide end-user production support for in-house developed and purchased software.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience building applications with Java, C#, and/or JavaScript.
  • Solid understanding of HTTP and Web protocols.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented and/or functional paradigms.
  • Familiarity with relational database design, preferably MS SQL Server or MySQL.
  • Skill in building RESTful web services and n-tiered distributed systems.
  • Experience in a source control system, preferably Git.
  • Ability to write and debug SQL queries and stored procedures.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as Spring Boot, .Net Core, etc.
  • Degree in Computer Science or MIS.
  • Good understanding of Agile methodology.
