Job Description

The Pediatric Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting physicians/providers with patient care, rooming patients, clerical, environmental and organizational tasks. This includes appointment scheduling, chart management, and maintaining patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities
  • Perform patient care responsibilities as assigned.
  • Send/receive patient medical records and abstract new patient records into EPIC.
  • Set up instruments and equipment according to department protocol.
  • Maintain patient autonomy, confidentiality and dignity.
Qualifications
  • Education:
    • Graduation from an accredited medical assistant certificate program.*
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 1 year primary care or specialist office experience.
