Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Vascular Technologist II to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a key member of our vascular laboratory, you will be responsible for conducting non-invasive vascular studies, including ultrasound, to diagnose and treat cerebrovascular, arterial, and venous problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform non-invasive vascular studies on patients with cerebrovascular, arterial, and venous problems, including complete examination of carotid and vertebral systems.
  • Prepare diagnostic testing protocols for patients with cerebrovascular, arterial, and venous disease.
  • Review patient histories and physicals for pertinent information aiding in final evaluation of test data.
  • Maintain equipment and vascular database, and compute and interpret statistical parameters associated with diagnostic test validation.
  • Perform various office functions, including scheduling patients, ordering supplies, and contacting service departments.
Requirements
  • Minimum one (1) year of vascular experience required.
  • Minimum one (1) year of ultrasound experience required.
  • Graduate from approved ultrasound training program recognized by CAHEA required.
  • Basic Life Support certification required.
  • Registered Vascular Technician Certificate required.
