Job Summary

The Language Pathology Support Specialist operates under the guidance of the Speech-Language Pathologist, performing a variety of responsibilities including, but not limited to,
activities aimed at fostering pre-language and language development, enhancing oral-motor skills for effective speech production, promoting vocalization, and
utilizing assistive technology tools for communication. This role involves working with students
who have recognized speech and language challenges as well as other disabilities.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Associate degree from a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Certificate Program or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current registration with the State of California Department of Consumer Affairs Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
  • Valid California Driver's License appropriate for vehicle operation, or ability to obtain prior to employment
  • A cover letter describing your interest and experience in this position
  • Two (2) current letters of recommendation
