Job Summary

We are seeking a Fitness Floor Ambassador to join our team at the North Suburban YMCA. This part-time role will provide exceptional customer service to members, ensuring a safe and clean environment for all.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and assist members with equipment usage and facility amenities.
  • Maintain high-touch areas and equipment cleanliness between sessions.
  • Monitor room capacity and physical distancing, communicating concerns to leadership as needed.
  • Activate the Emergency Response Plan in response to medical emergencies and inform branch leadership accordingly.
  • Communicate member and staff concerns, safety infractions, and facility issues to the Leader on Duty at the end of each shift.
Requirements
  • Fitness floor or customer service experience.
  • CPR/AED certification.
  • CORI/SORI background check.
Preferred Qualifications
  • NCCA or similar accredited personal training certification.

Compensation

$16.00 - $17.00 per hour.
