We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physical Therapist II to join our team at Alameda Health System. As a Physical Therapist II, you will be responsible for supervising a small group of physical therapists, aides, and students, and evaluating and treating a broad spectrum of patients.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and mentor physical therapists, aides, and students to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Evaluate and treat patients with a range of physical therapy needs, using a variety of techniques and modalities.
- Communicate effectively with staff members, physicians, and other disciplines to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that produce positive outcomes for patients.
- Delegate tasks to physical therapy aides and assistants as needed.
- Participate in program planning and quality improvement initiatives.
- Assist with new staff orientation and training.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Graduation from an approved school of Physical Therapy.
- At least one year of experience in the class of Physical Therapist I as employed by Alameda Health System, or two years or more of recent experience in another clinical setting related to the area of proposed supervision.
- Eligibility for, or possession of, a valid certificate to practice as a Registered Physical Therapist in the State of California.
- BLS - Basic Life Support Certification - issued by AHA-American Heart Association.
