Position Summary:We are in search of a proficient Systems Administrator to enhance our Information Technology division. The successful candidate will possess a solid 3 to 5 years of experience in IT technical support, particularly within an Amazon Web Services (AWS) framework.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver technical assistance to users regarding hardware, software, and application-related challenges.
- Oversee and sustain AWS servers, ensuring they operate at peak performance and security levels.
- Manage IT helpdesk operations, addressing user inquiries and resolving technology-related problems.
- Monitor and diagnose server complications within the AWS ecosystem.
- Support the deployment and administration of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, KMS, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
- Create and maintain scripts and applications for AWS management utilizing programming languages like Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Collaborate with the IT team to integrate new technologies and enhance existing systems.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and protocols concerning IT and data security.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in IT support, managing technical issues related to hardware, software, and applications.
- Demonstrated experience in an AWS environment.
- Comprehensive understanding and practical experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, KMS, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming for AWS management (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with IT helpdesk operations and user support.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator).
- Experience in network configuration and security.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices.
