Commercial Refrigeration Specialist

**Job Overview:**

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Specialist to join our team at Benedict Sales & Service. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing commercial refrigeration systems, HVAC equipment, and ventilation systems in high-profile facilities throughout central and northern Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota.

**About the Role:**

This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in mechanical repair and installation, with a focus on commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems. You will work independently, troubleshooting complex problems and making repairs as needed. Your attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues will be essential in this role.

**Responsibilities:**

* Troubleshoot and repair commercial refrigeration systems, HVAC equipment, and ventilation systems
* Read and understand technical drawings and schematics to perform repairs and maintenance
* Maintain inventory of replacement parts and order replacements as needed
* Utilize computerized management system to accurately record work progress and history
* Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer needs in a timely and professional manner
* Collaborate with colleagues to achieve department goals and support team environment
* Safely operate company vehicles, tools, and equipment

**Requirements:**

* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Vocational/technical school training or apprenticeship preferred
* Minimum one year of related refrigeration/HVAC experience required, two years preferred
* EPA Universal Certification required
* Valid class D driver's license and commercial insurability required
