Senior Editor

Global Dimensions is a dynamic and expanding company with exciting opportunities in language/culture, training/education/instruction, IT, cyber security, and intelligence. We are seeking a Senior Editor to join our team in St. Louis, MO.

The Senior Editor will provide a full range of support in the production and dissemination of finished products, working with analytic customers (authors) to conduct final reviews of text, graphics, and other formats for intelligence products. The ideal candidate will possess professional-level expertise with electronic publishing applications, structured authoring software, and have a strong understanding of multimedia technologies.

• Conduct final reviews of text, graphics, and other formats for intelligence products
• Formulate simple queries for relevant databases and produce publications in accordance with standards
• Possess professional-level expertise with electronic publishing applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, QuarkXpress, Adobe InDesign, FrameMaker, and Acrobat
• Have a strong understanding of multimedia technologies and be able to format documents using structured authoring software (SGML, XML, and HTML)
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, with excellent writing skills
• Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Outlook
• Working knowledge of Worldwide Web and multimedia technologies

• Current/Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
• At least 10 years of editing experience along with an undergraduate or graduate degree in Journalism or English, or at least 15 years of editing experience without the specified degree
• Working knowledge with electronic publishing software, such as Adobe InDesign, and FrameMaker
• Working knowledge with structured authoring software (SGML, XML, and HTML) and expert ability to format documents using such software
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, with excellent writing skills
• Demonstrated proficiency with the following applications: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Outlook
• Working knowledge of Worldwide Web and multimedia technologies
