Electives Teacher

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electives Teacher to join our team at Jefferson RISE Charter School. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering a standards-aligned curriculum, providing engaging and rigorous instruction, and collaborating with colleagues to drive student achievement.

• Develop and implement ambitious, standards-aligned lesson plans with an end goal of student performance at or above grade level expectations
• Provide engaging, motivating, and rigorous instruction in whole-class, small-group, and individual settings
• Provide academic support and tutoring to small groups or individual students as needed/scheduled, including after-school tutoring
• Analyze student achievement data in collaboration with team members and implement data tracking system to inform instructional development and delivery
• Embody and teach the mission, vision, and strategic direction of the school, and design and implement programs that promote positive student behavior and motivate students to exhibit leadership values

• Bachelor's degree required, degree in content area preferred, and content area certification preferred
• Technological proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as other web-based applications
• Excellent communication skills, high level of personal organization and planning, and proven track record of student achievement and/or growth
