We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Wexford Health Sources, Inc. in Galesburg, IL. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to our incarcerated patients.
Responsibilities- Assist in the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Direct and guide patient teaching activities under the guidance of Registered Nurses.
- Utilize electronic medical record systems to document patient information and track progress.
- Assist in planning individual treatment programs and implementing care plans in collaboration with Registered Nurses and physicians.
- Perform non-professional nursing care duties, including assessing patient needs and developing plans to meet those needs.
- Currently licensed as an LPN in the state of Illinois.
- Current CPR certification from a recognized organization (e.g., American Red Cross, American Heart Association, American Safety and Health Institute).
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- One year of clinical experience, preferably in a correctional setting.
