About the Role
Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
1. Assisting pharmacists in replenishing floor stock and delivering medications to patient care areas.
2. Receiving and stocking medication deliveries, and maintaining adequate drug supplies in filling stations.
3. Delivering medication carts to patient care areas and ensuring filling stations are maintained in a neat and orderly manner.
4. Adhering to the standards identified in the Medical Center's Organizational Competencies.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous hospital experience is preferred.
3. A Pharmacy Technician License is required.
