Interventional Radiology Specialist

As a skilled Interventional Radiology Tech, you will perform specialized imaging procedures, including angio, complex vascular and nonvascular, and neuro interventional and therapeutic procedures, in collaboration with Radiologists/PA. This role requires a strong understanding of radiation safety procedures and guidelines, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, selecting anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
- Administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Monitor patient activity during procedures and report any abnormalities.
- Follow radiation safety protocols and guidelines.
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Completion of a radiology program.
- No experience required.
- ARRT - R radiology certification.
Work Environment:
This role is based in the Interventional Radiology department at SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
