Landscape Architect

As a skilled landscape architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing residential landscape projects from inception to completion. This will involve conducting site inventory and analysis, creating conceptual drawings, obtaining necessary permits, and developing project technical specifications and illustrative drawings.
You will work closely with clients, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure open communication and successful project execution. Routine site visits will be required to ensure proper execution and address any in-field changes or adjustments as needed.
Landscape plans will include a variety of elements such as hardscapes, softscapes, plantings, pools, outdoor kitchens, water features, and patios. Familiarity with these components is essential for this role.
Qualifications and Requirements- 3-5 years of relevant industry experience
- Portfolio required (high-end residential experience only)
- Associate or bachelor's degree in landscape architecture or horticulture preferred
- Familiarity with New England trees, shrubs, and perennials is crucial for creating planting plans and making recommendations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Sketchup, AutoCAD, Dynascape, or Vectorworks
- Ability to effectively communicate with all project stakeholders
- Proficient in grading, drainage, plant selection and layout, lighting, irrigation, and water features
- Knowledge of New Hampshire shoreland and wetland rules and regulations is critical
- Ability to prepare and present landscape plans to clients and general contractors
- Creative thinking and imagination are essential for this role
- Travel is required for site layout throughout the project
- Collaboration with estimators to derive an accurate price/budget for clients
- The ability to speak Spanish is a plus
- A licensed architect is preferred
