We're seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Baker to join our team. As a Restaurant & Bakery Baker, you'll be responsible for preparing high-quality bakery items, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, and ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction.

• Bake and prepare bakery items according to Perkins standards and specifications.
• Display and merchandise bakery items in a visually appealing manner.
• Ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness procedures are followed in the kitchen, walk-ins, and dry storage areas.
• Control food costs and maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Prepare and present bakery items in a timely and efficient manner.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and high-quality food presentation.
• Communicate effectively with guests and team members to ensure exceptional service.

• Basic skills in sanitation, safety, and customer service can be taught through in-house training.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

This role requires extensive standing and walking for up to 8 hours. You must be able to see at a distance, distinguish between shapes, and utilize peripheral vision to avoid hazards. You will be exposed to heat, steam, smoke, and cold. You must be able to communicate clearly and have high-level mobility and flexibility in the workspace.

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, reach, and walk for long periods. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with high pressure and stress during busy times.
