We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sleep Consultant to join our team at Mathis Brothers. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our high-quality mattresses to customers, while providing exceptional customer service and support.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service and support to customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Work closely with customers to understand their needs and preferences, and provide personalized recommendations for our mattresses and other products.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, building trust and loyalty through exceptional service and follow-up.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as warehouse and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of customer orders and inquiries.
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, features, and benefits, and effectively communicate this information to customers.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of sales or customer service experience, preferably in a retail or mattress industry setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and stand for long periods of time.
- Advanced computer skills, with proficiency in sales software and other technology systems.
- Knowledge of employment and merchandise handling procedures, with a focus on maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
