Construction Technician

Mosaic Technologies is seeking a skilled Construction Technician to join our team. As a key member of our utility construction team, you will be responsible for operating equipment, performing labor duties, and ensuring the safe and efficient installation of underground utilities.

• Equipment Operation: Operate small and large equipment, including plowing, digging, and trenching equipment, to place direct buried cable.
• Maintenance and Repair: Perform daily maintenance on equipment and tools, and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Labor Duties: Perform routine labor tasks, including potholing, maintenance of right-of-ways, landscaping, and setting pedestals.
• Support Functions: Assist installers and locators as needed, and perform administrative tasks such as reporting time and materials for completed work, balancing inventory, and recording footages.
• On-Call Responsibilities: Be available to take on-call shifts as deemed necessary by the company.

• Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license, with a CDL preferred.
• Teamwork and Communication: Demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
• Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Possess the ability to operate and maintain equipment and tools, and have general industry knowledge and the ability to interpret various prints.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
• Dependability and Reliability: Demonstrate dependability and reliability to the company, coworkers, and customers.
• Education and Experience: Possess a high school diploma plus one year of applicable experience.
