Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Non-Destructive Test Technician to join our team at Noble Aerospace. As a key member of our inspection team, you will be responsible for testing and inspecting parts and assemblies for defects using automated and manual methods and techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform NDT examinations in conjunction with receipt and in-process inspections on material purchased for use in fabrication.
  • Inspect and evaluate parts and assemblies for defects using radiography, ultrasound, penetrant, eddy current, laser shearography, and magnetic particle methods.
  • Record results and maintain accurate records of inspections and evaluations.
  • Assist production in the set-up of material and/or components for receipt inspection, as required.
  • Train other individuals as required by management.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of inspection related experience.
  • Certified Level 2 Magnetic Particle Inspector is a MUST.
  • Ability to communicate, read, and understand English.
  • Ability to read blue prints/drawings.
  • Ability to follow precise instructions.
  • Ability to work around hazardous chemicals.
  • Must have excellent hand/eye coordination.
  • Ability to work well with others as part of a team.
  • Able to multi-task and open to working overtime.
Working Conditions

Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 50 pounds. May work alone with minimal supervision or with other personnel.

ITAR Requirement

Due to ITAR regulations, this position requires that the employee must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).
