You will be responsible for managing engagement and client expectations, ensuring satisfaction, and communicating upward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise client work to ensure timely completion and quality delivery
  • Manage client expectations and ensure satisfaction through effective communication
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular contact and timely response to requests
  • Assess problem/issue materiality and interpret implications for clients, understanding their risk tolerance
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the firm's services and effectively present ideas to clients to drive additional services
  • Research and review work papers for book-to-tax differences
  • Apply relevant tax law to clients' specific circumstances
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of tax planning concepts and apply them to client situations
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and identify opportunities for savings and risk reduction for clients

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree required
  • CPA license or in progress
  • Minimum 3 years of tax experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of tax code and rules, including implications
  • Experience preparing returns and researching complex tax issues
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
