The initial maximum salary placement is based on academic degree, upper/graduate level units earned, and/or related professional occupational experience per the step placement process.

Job Description

As an adjunct faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching assigned classes under the supervision of the area dean, helping students master course content, assessing student learning outcomes, and maintaining a thorough knowledge in your regular teaching field.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Master's in art history, history of art and architecture, or visual culture/visual studies OR Bachelor's in art history and master's in history OR Master's in art with a recorded emphasis or concentration in art history OR equivalent*
  • Have an equity-minded focus, responsiveness, and sensitivity to diverse academic backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, cultural backgrounds, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
